Frequently Asked Questions
Can someone draw themselves?+
No. The Sattolo algorithm mathematically produces a cyclic derangement: it is physically impossible for Alice to draw Alice.
Is the draw truly random?+
Yes. Hasardio uses crypto.getRandomValues() — the browser's native hardware entropy source. No pseudo-random Math.random(). The result is certified by a unique SHA-256 hash.
Are our names stored on your servers?+
No. All computation happens in your browser. No data is ever sent to a server.
Can I exclude certain couples or pairs?+
Not automatically yet. If the result contains an unwanted pairing, re-run the draw — each result is different.
How do I share assignments privately?+
Use the flip cards: each person clicks their own card to see their assignment privately. Or copy all pairs and send them individually.
Can I export the results?+
Yes — as a PDF for printing or archiving, and as a CSV/Excel file for professional use.
